VoPay
VoPay is a data-driven payment transformation company focused on B2B payments and near real-time processing for digital platforms that need payments capabilities.
As a UI/UX and visual designer, my responsibilities include designing and optimizing VoPay's pages for web and mobile. I was also in charge of VoPay's visuals for blog and social media content, which saw a subtle refresh towards the end of 2021, and 2022 onwards.
The visual identity
Vopay's brand essence consisted of no-nonsense, high-knowledge, and visionary ideology. This was reflected through clean sans serif fonts, and a mostly monochromatic colour scheme with pops of the brand purple and yellow. We also leaned towards simple, isometric visuals to make tangible more abstract concepts of digital payments processes.
Design Considerations
In designing for web, app, and social media deliverables, we always prioritized information hierarchy through font size, grouping, and colour hierarchy in the layout. In general design assets, we also used white space generously to prevent in-layout clutter and to balance out the brand purple and yellow, as well as the amount of information users would have to take in while on the site as not to overwhelm them.
